Osteofitness™ for Osteoporosis
and Osteoarthritis is more than just strengthening. The Ikier
Wellness Center’s Osteofitness™ program focuses
on joint mobility with progressive resistance training to
increase bone density, a training method developed by Miriam
Nelson, PhD and others. We utilize massage to promote circulation and
improve absorption of calcium and vitamin D. Balance training
and falls prevention, reduction of arthritis pain and stress
management are all an integral part of the Osteofitness™

Offering group exercise where everyone
receives professional, individual attention. All Osteofitness™
classes are designed around cardiovascular conditioning, muscle
strengthening and increased flexibility.
Options include:
- Osteofitness™ I - for those using a cane or walker
(seated)
- Osteofitness™ II - for beginners (standing, on floor
optional)
- Osteofitness™ III - for active adults (standing
and on floor)
